Meet John
John is a husband, father, leader, pastor, writer, speaker, and follower of Jesus. Currently, he’s the Executive Director of Creative Arts and a part of the teaching team at Eagle Brook Church, a multi-site church with 11 locations across the Twin Cities. He’s been married to his wife Emily for 13 years and has two kids, Maddox (10) and Marley (6).
When not doing ministry, John enjoys working out, coaching youth sports, following Seattle sports teams, and drinking good to great (definitely not average) coffee.
From the age of 11, he felt a call to help build the local Church, so in many ways, whether volunteer or professional, that’s what he’s been trying to do for the last 27 years.

This website is devoted to writing provocative, challenging, and hope-filled words, mostly about the Church, leadership, and what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world.
